PA's Radon Remediation Specialists

When you work with Airotox to rid your property of radon, we'll perform a complete site evaluation so that we can create a remediation plan just for you. Our certified and experienced technicians are licensed and insured and can answer any questions you have about your radon remediation project.

Our Radon Remediation Process

  1. Site Visit: We prefer to make at least one initial visit to your property to evaluate the structure, develop a remediation plan, and provide you with an accurate quote. We strive to address your questions and concerns during this visit and give you all of the necessary information to ensure the installation process is smooth and carefree.
  1. Installation: You are not required to be home on the scheduled day of installation, but you also don't have to leave. We recommend avoiding the local working area due to noise, equipment, and material concerns like vapors from caulk and glue. Upon arriving at the property, all important factors related to the installation will be discussed thoroughly before starting any work. Generally, the installation lasts anywhere from 3-6 hours, dependent on factors specific to the home. All of our radon systems are designed to meet or exceed applicable state radon mitigation standards and are backed by a five-year guarantee. When the system installation is complete, we will personally walk you through every component of the system and address any questions or concerns you may have.
  1. Post-Mitigation Clearance Test: After the installation is complete, we will schedule a follow-up radon test at your earliest convenience to ensure the system is operating correctly, i.e., lowering radon levels below 4.0 pci/L. Every complete radon system installation includes a short-term post-mitigation test conducted by SPY Inspection Services and adhering to real estate transaction guidelines for those in the process of buying or selling a home. In addition, we always recommend you have a third-party tester verify your radon levels after installation.
  1. Continued Customer Service: We pride ourselves on providing the most excellent customer service, and our job is not complete until you are 100% satisfied with all aspects of your contracted installation and follow-up testing. If you have any questions about your radon remediation project, call us at (215) 247-6869, and we will be happy to talk you through them.

Test Your Property For Radon

Practically every home today has at least the potential for elevated or higher than desired radon levels. The only way to know if your property has radon levels above 4.0 pCi/L is to have a certified radon testing company perform a test. When your property has increased levels of radon, unfortunately your exposure and risk of lung cancer increase as well. At Airotox, we are ready to remediate your home or office to help protect you from this deadly gas.
